I have a Savage 17HMR and love it. It's not the same model as the one in the ad, but the actions should be the same. My wife has the same style stock on her Remington 700 and it's very comfortable to shoot, and looks good also. I say go for it! Remember to save for decent optics also.

I like the 17HMR. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with Savage Customer Service which convinced me never to buy a Savage again.... then again, ONLY my personal experience... furthermore, my Savage Rifle shoots great.
