Aimpoint Micro T-1 MOA and Mount

Edited based on Starsnuffer's post below.

COLT LE6940CA removed from the post.

I realize the post should now be in the shotgun section with the removal of the COLT LE6940CA.

    My apologies.

I want to purchase an Aimpoint Micro T-1 for my Benelli M4.

I am leaning towards the Aimpoint LRP mount unless anyone has better recommendations/suggestions for the mount?

Would 2 or 4 MOA be better?

I am thinking 4 MOA would be more suitable for a shotgun?

Again, any recommendations/suggestions on the MOA will be appreciated.

You could, but you'd be compromising.

First off, even if you found a mount who had a height that you felt would work, you'd have to re-zero the optic for each weapon every time you moved it.

Second, the AR has a low rail height, so you'll want a riser for your T1. The M4 you'll want a low mount to keep the T1 more in line with the stock ghost rings.

Your best solution is to get a separate T1 for each weapon with a mount specific to that weapon.

I forgot about having to re-zero for each firearm.

The optic will only be used on the Benelli M4.

      Thank you for your post.

You'd be better off with a ghost ring sight. Red dot's on shotguns are kind of pointless.

EDIT: And this is the Centerfire Rifle forum, not the Shotgun forum.
