    Spikes Dynacomp: Extreme or Shorty?

I have a 16" barrel so I don't necessarily need the extra length of the Extreme for OAL requirements. My question is more about the difference in the two as far as performance/sound, if there is any at all. The price is the same for both so that doesn't matter as well. Anyone with any experience with these? I've read a few things here and there on m4carbine and arfcom but not much info. People say the difference is negligible if any, but I figured I would ask fellow calgunners before I drop the dough. Thanks fellas.

I have both. No difference imo. I prefer the extreme as far as looks are concerned.

Thanks for the input. I figured there wasn't much difference. Since the extreme is the only one I am finding in stock right now, that will be my choice. How do you like them BTW?

I have the ops inc version on my rifle, it is ported all the way around unlike the regular dynacomps and is threaded for an opsinc surpressor. Its good looking.. But my yhm phantom brake outperforms it for 1/4 the cost. Haven't shot the BC comps long enough to tell. Wanted to try the Ares and griffon comps but busy with current builds.
