First AR build. Do I need to rebuild a new BCG before installing?

    Hi everyone,
So I finally scored a BCM BCG a couple of days ago and it was waiting for me when I got home today. It's my first AR build and I'm wondering if the BCG needs to be torn down and rebuilt or can I plug it in and go? I'll eventually be Frog Lubing it all either way. Just wondering what a best practice would be.

Nah, just clean off all the packing grease, lube it up and go. Just make sure the gas ring gaps are not all lined up in a row.

If you're going to frog lube it, which is what I would do, Take it apart and remove the packing grease. Then apply the froglube on every part minus the bolt face and you're good to go.
