Legality of importing a Century L1A1

Ok ive read the AW flow chart and do not see the Century FAL type rifle on it. Im working on a deal to import one here to CA and want to make sure its legal. The receiver has L1A1 on it and it is a Century build. The owner will seperate the upper from the lower and I will rebuild it complying with CA law after dros. Anyone see any problems here?

Whose model receiver? Does receiver say Century as mfgr or importer?

The only banned FAL-derived models are the FN-mfgd 'FAL', 'LAR', 'FNC', '308 Match', 'Sporter'.

Century has used a variety of US mfgd receivers - some Imbel, some Entreprise, maybe some FedOrd - gawd knows what other brands/models.

Do you see "Century Arms R1A1 Sporter" on the Roberti-Roos list?

NO, so it's not listed. Follow the SB-23 evil features rules and it is legal.

Seriously, how hard is it to look at the list? If it's not an "FN-FAL" or "Springfield SAR-48/4800" it's not listed.

Sorry Drickel I didnt intend to offend you I personally have never done a transfer from out of state ( at least not C&R ). Its some what comforting to hear from experts here on the board ( such as yourself ) that what I am doing is legal and ok. Yes I read the chart but from experience in the past were I missed 3 letters and almost made a mistake I wanted to check here first. Thank you all for your expertise now I just need to find a BB button.

Sorry I didn't mean to be short with you, but it's very simple to check if something not AR/AK based is listed. Bullet buttons will be available very, very soon. I might make some after dinner
