    Threaded Rifle Barrels Are Legal?

So, are threaded barrels legal now on a rifle? I see lots of uppers for sale with muzzle breaks? Do they have to be pinned? Or permanent? Are compensators legal to screw on a barrel?

Legal, yes. Old Federal ban had no threads. It's sunset...

Do you have a registered AW? If so, you can add a brake, FH, collapsible, anything you want.

16" total barrel length is required always, so if you use a <16" barrel the muzzle device that gets it over 16" must be permanent. However, if the brrel is >16" you're free to keep it detachable.

BB gets anything you want but high caps (if you owned them before 2000, can't get them now anyway).
MMG no FH, PG, or CS.

(sorry had to do it )

I have threaded thousands of barrels since 9/14/2004.

Muzzle brakes/compensators are legal on rifles with or without detachable magazines, pistol grips, extendable stocks, etc.

We just have the silly remnant of the "flash hider" law.
"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." -- Thomas Jefferson
