                    looks like painted factory stock (look at the worn off finish by the butt) and aftermarket handguards (painted or bought that way i dunno)

                          On my Saiga the furniture is painted with Alumahyde II. On the top of the butt it technically did not wear off -- I painted it and then realized I had not blended the butt plate well enough at that area so I sanded it down. D'OH!

                          (I had cut the LONG factory stock down 2".)
