Yep time to load and cut it down to 2.00 a round or less

That is the normal price, even without the current jump in pricing due to shortages.

Smart buying of bulk supplies and you can load 1k yard grade rounds for $1 a pop... not counting the reloading gear.
The only reasons to buy factory 338LM ammo is to compare to your loads when you first get set up, or because you like to set money on fire as your other hobby!!

The 110BA is a great way to get into 338LM, by the time you cook the barrel you will be ready to upgrade or move on to another shooting sport.

.338 Lapua could be found for less. Got some Prvi last year for >$3.00 per round, and some Hornady for $4.00. probably not gonna see those prices again. Reloading is a good choice.
          Sorry, not sorry.

Cheapest car on the lot, but it will most likely run. Mixed reviews from most. I've had 1 friends ignore my advice and now has some buyers regret. I'd look into a rem700 platform or a AR-30 instead.

Don't discourage people from buying savage 338's.
We need people like that leaving their factory once-fired brass on the ground!

If you just want something to make a really big boom and kick you really hard, look into a .300 WM or pick up a shotgun and shoot some 3.5" magnum loads out of it... .338 Lapua has a very specific purpose (advanced precision work) and you don't strike me as that kind of shooter from your one and only post in this thread.

                    I didn't know you shot .338LM

Anyways, I have shot that rifle and it is GTG. If it is going to be a safe queen, go ahead and buy a box of factory ammo, shoot 1/2 of it so at least you can say that you shot it and oil it up real good before it goes in the safe so you don't lose too much when you re-sell it.

If you are going to shoot it then you are pretty much going to reload for it. The good news is that I understand you can load for it with a rockchucker.

I didn't know you were keeping track of everything I shoot.

Is the 338 missing from my .gov arms list?
