Single Stage or 2 stage Trigger ?

I was wonder what would be better single or 2 stage trigger?

It's really personal preference. I like 2 stage but I have friends who hate them. 2 stage triggers tend to be more expensive because they are usually of better quality. Ymmv

It depends on what you're using it for. The trigger on my bench rest/target gun is a 2 stage, while when I'm shooting in a tactical/dynamic environment, I use the Giselle S3G or the SD3G

Depends what you're using it for. Basically comes down to 2 things.

1. Bench shooting = 2 stage

2. Tactical or defense shooting = single stage.

I personally use a SD3G trigger I got for $180 :<).. Very crisp break with no creep and super fast reset. Nice and smooth till it breaks you just can't feel it till it goes and then bam reset.

Kinda funny, but US military rifles all had 2 stage triggers until the AR-15. So much for "tactical" requiring single stage. It comes down to preference. You can break a two stage trigger more predictably, IMHO. Some people don't like the longer pull of a 2 stage. Either way, get a good one. Nothing worse than a gritty, creepy trigger, whether single or 2 stage.

I have an M&P 15/22.

I put a two stage AR-15 trigger group in it. I prefer the two stage on the .22 as it gives me the same creep as my M1A and bolt action.

It's probably a personal decision but I have found it helps me be more controlled and accurate.
