Are linkless ammo loaders considered high cap mags?

I thought those were chutes that facilitated the loading of longer chains of ammo (to eliminate the need of a secondary gunner, especially useful on aircraft where there isn't a second man). I think those still need links. If they do require links, I would imagine those are legal. If they are in fact a hopper style of chute, then it would fall under an "ammunition feeding device" and would be illegal if it held more than 10 rounds.
You could always remove a portion so only 10 rounds could fit and save the rest for whenever you leave the state.quemadmodum gladius neminem occidit, occidentis telum est. - Lucius Annaeus
