I have felt very few that were as tight as I liked.........the CAA on my mossberg is not bad, fairly tight, I have none on my ar`s just because I do not like the play which will not affect anything, I just don`t like it.

Same with most upper lower reciever fits, few are as tight as I like, .......is it significant or will it affect anything....no, but I just do not like it.

I will say I have seen many with tape or some variant taking up room to reduce play........the best I have seen are those who use duracoat or some variant to take up the room.......but in the end the ones with scotch tape on the buffer tube still worked.....

Every Magpul CTR I have ever owned was TIGHT on the tube with no rattle at all. The lock was nearly unnecessary.

This thread is over 3 years old and, there's no way I'm using electric tape to fit a com stock to a mil spec tube

that just sounds hokey to me..... wont the electrical tape get all smashed up going back and forth from collapsing and extending it?

"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.

I love how people always report their findings to help further the knowledge of others..........

I have seen so many threads in various forums that never come to a close and the op never reports back......

I get them all the time in google search.......6 year old 9 page threads with no resolution, like never getting to see the last 15 minutes of a movie......

This thread is three years old. Electrical tape is not the answer. MOE stocks are lose. CTR stocks are tight with friction lock when extended.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.
