    Saiga Conversion Parts

I've been out of the rifle game for a while now. I've had my uncoverted Saiga 7.62 sitting around for almost 4 yrs now unfired. I been wanting to convert it for a while, but never got to do it.

So I was wondering what kits are out there, or what's a breakdown of what I need? I plan on taking it to a shop and having them convert them for me. Also what sites are out there that sell these kits.

    thanks

I just finished my first one. It wasnt that bad. Check out dinzag and kvar. Thats where I got some of my parts. Search you tube also. Theres at least one good video out there to help you along. when you do it you wont be disapointed. the u.s. made trigger and disconnector were a big upgrade. good luck

Find a barrless 74 parts kit and use that for everything. Add in your fire control group, a US stock and grip, and a gas piston or mag follower and your done.
            The kit will give you
            Trigger guard and plate
            Rear sight
            Gas tube
            Gas block+ pins
            Lower handguard retainer
            Front sight base+ pins
            Muzzle brake
            Cleaning rod
And if you wanted to go with the full restoration, you can use the bullet guide if your converting a 545.
