    Anyone with BCM Compensator?

Can anyone discuss how well (or poorly) BCM Compensators work, specifically considering the Mod 1 on a 5.56 platform.

Copy that. Just haven't tested it out yet. Usually run Battle Comp's but wanted to give it a try.

FYI, here's a comparison for you to check it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNMJHMOTl0g

I will say that it's built quite well.

I have one, but it's sitting on my workbench waiting to be installed and pinned in a current build. The barrel nut I need arrives Wednesday with my giessele rail. Hopefully I'll have it together in time to take out Saturday and report back.

That video is a poor selling tool IMHO. Watch how much forward and aft movement there is compared to the others in the video. Significant difference.

I was actually hoping for a tad bit more in the flash hiding department, ESP since I was considering one for a 10.5 in barrel. Think I might as well just go BC or dynacomp

None of the brakes are any good for flash suppression. Can't have it all.

I'm aware of the trade offs, I was just hoping it would be more fh than comp

When comparing it between those other two, you'll notice that the BCM one has less of a signature than the BCE does (can't speak for the Dynacomp one). Plus you're looking at a delta of $50 savings with the BCM one. That to me is a big difference. If I can get the same performance or better with a cheaper item (not to be confused with less inferior) then I'm all for it.

Yes, 16" and up you are GTG.

I've got one installed and pinned on an upper I'm hoping to take out this weekend, and I have an extra one as well if anyone is interested.
