    Rifle Identification Help

My dad and I pulled these rifles out of my grandmother's house. The rifles belonged to my grandfather. I'm looking for help to identify the make and model of the three rifles. I'm also curious if any are worth the effort to restore and/or rebarrel them. Thank you in advance.

I think they might be Japanese Arisaka Rifles.

Rifle #3 is a Japanese Arisaka.Worth more if Chrysanthemum crest is intact on reciever.Worth more if not altered.
Rifle #2 is a hex reciever Mosin.Value higher if unaltered also.Year and Maker also vary value.

Just took a closer look at #1,not an Arisaka.Split buttstock made me think it was.Action is wrong for Arisaka. Not sure what it is.

#1 is a Japanese contract Italian Carcano "Type I". The Mosin-Nagant looks like one of the Japanese captured ones that were converted to training rifles.

These would all need to be very carefully and non-destructively cleaned (oil and bronze wool on the metal) to see what they look like. "restoring" and rebarreling are not options, but if properly cleaned and stabilized they might have more value than in the rusty relic condition they appear to be in now.

Interesting that 2 of them are definitely Japanese WW2 and the other also looks like it came out of Japan. Was your grandfather in the military in the South Pacific during WW2? These might have some family historical/sentimental value that would dictate they be preserved and displayed, and that any know family history relating to them also be recorded and preserved.

              Type ! 6.5mm Arisaka
              Moison nagant type 91
              Type 99 arisaka 7.7mm

They look pretty rusty externally, if the bores are the same not worth much.

              Type ! 6.5mm Arisaka $150
              Moison nagant type 91 $100
              Type 99 arisaka 7.7mm $175

Thank you all for the responses. My grandfather was too young to fight in World War 2. He was a self employed janitor. It sounds like they're very common pieces. I'll post some more identification marks for curiosity's sake. Does anyone read Japanese?
