Doesn't anyone remember the post Obama 2007 election panic buy? CTD did the same thing back then and I was surprised to see people give them business. Although its hard to blame just them. The buyer has to be responsible as well. If someone is willing to pay 5x what a product is worth along with a bunch of others in line then its not just the seller who is at fault. People are panic buying like crazy and the vendors are panic selling like crazy. A lot of places have moved more volume of goods in the last 2 months than they have moved in 3-4 years.

Anyhow, I know everyone raised their prices with the panic, but that's more than 5x what they used to sell the exact same product for. Matter of fact, they have the same thing listed for $12.95 but OOS. Do any laws kick in with that kind of blatant gouging?
      We don't hate you.

      btw, welcome to CalGuns.

It's just OLD NEWS to many around here regarding CTD.

People don' remember the bs from before (or simply didn't know if they wern't involved with the AR and such), just like with Spikes' popin' their items waaaay up in cost back then, as well. There are many CG'ers that won't buy their stuff...they remember.

      btw...5x?

My last pMag 30rd order in December was like $10.99 iirc, came from the good guys at Exile down in Texas.

First you are chopping up historic vintage rifles and sticking them in cheap and nasty looking plastic "dildo" stocks that look like some kind of futuristic sex toy that gay space aliens stick up each other's butts.

I find it a bit ridiculous that you're all hating on CTD for raising their prices. This is AMERICA. FREE MARKET. Capitalism is based on SUPPLY AND DEMAND. I feel like these are all very basic ideas... Obviously people are still buying them, if they didn't raise their prices you wouldn't even have the option to buy them because everywhere else is sold out.

Forget their prices, why would you give a company any of your hard earned Money when they're as Anti Cali as Cheaper Than Dirt is? Screw them, I'll never give them my business.

Does it matter what CTD sells the Pmag for? Not like they would ship it to CA anyway.

Magpul does not have a policy on large vendors price setting, correct me if I am wrong but I believe they do. I am all for capitalism, but this is not market correction, this is market manipulation to keep prices high. Not acceptable, but hey it is AFu**ckingWayMoreThanDirtFilledWithGold. BS.

Buy low, sell high... I had a friend sell off a dozen of my PMAGs I had (up in WA State) for an average of $75 each on GunBroker.com - used the proceeds to finance a new 686 plus purchase, and still have a few dozen PMAGs waiting for me back in Seattle.

Firearms are fun, they are functional, but they are also an asset. Why not make some extra cash to scratch a new-firearm itch? In another 4-5 months PMAGs will either be totally banned (in which case, the 24 I still have will be a good number to still own), or the price will come back down to Earth at $20 each - and I can restock back up to 36, and get a new 4" revolver in the mean time - for free.

Demand is really high, supplies are highly limited - it's a seller's market, take advantage when you can.

I've got a folder full of screen caps from their website of them selling things for absolutely atrocious prices. CTD has a history of gouging and fear-mongering.

Would never buy from them and I encourage others to do the same.

Haha! Just got the CTD monthly mailer. Out of morbid curiosity, I checked it out. They list all the ammo and mags but don't even include prices! Shameless...

I saw that too, like it's a market rate commodity or something. I guess they don't want to get held to a printed price.
