And I will never understand why. The Armilite does not work very well. At least mine doesn't.

You got some splaining to do, Lucy.

Man you just want all my cash.

The main reason I want an "Armalite" spec lower is so I can throw a Noveske upper on it! Rumor mill also has Noveske releasing a .308 lower soon. One can only wish. Seems like a hoppin' market right now (.308 ARs). I only wish someone was delivering the goods. Seems like all I'm doing is waiting for LWRC, POF, RRA, Magpul, and FN to start manufacturing and shipping with regularity!

There is a bad one in every batch no matter who makes it.

Aren't we all.......you could always get a HK or a SIG to tide you over.....

An ARMALITE compatible lwr should be available in TWO WEEKS..

They won't be available in large numbers and won't cost much less than what is out there right now....

As usual RIFLES are what they want to sell and not LWRS......

This all comes from an announcement by Armalite on Ar15.com:

                  ARMALITE ANNOUNCES GUNSMITH RIFLE KITS

                  Geneseo IL, January 2, 2008

ArmaLite Inc. announced today the introduction of the AR-10(r) "Gunsmith Kit". These kits enable users to build their own custom AR10 rifle to their own standards. The AR10 Gunsmith Kits include all the core parts required to build an AR10 rifle, excluding any parts that are optional based on the configuration of rifle desired. These economical kits allow the gunsmiths to use aftermarket components to build their custom rifle without the need to disassemble a complete AR-10. Genuine ArmaLite components will be available to flesh out the customers option needs. Kits come complete with key interface dimensions of the barrel. A similar program will be available to manufacturers wishing to build fine rifles on the AR-10 frame under their own brand.

The AR-10 Gunsmith kit retails for $862

Please call your ArmaLite sales representative for more information about the kits. Supplies will be limited until production catches up.

You have to be a firearms manufacturer. The only thing harder to get than an FFL-01...

Hence my suggestion that Enterprise step up

So, is the private name brand that everyone is talking about from CNCgunsmithing or someone else?

Does this mean, it will be a 80% lower, and all I need to do, is purchase a lpk for it complete it.

They would be 100% complete receivers.
