    JP Chassis System?

What is everyone's thoughts on the JP chassis system for a 700 short action?

    Thanks!

I was interested in these as well awhile back. I never was able to check one out and went with a Mcree instead. I mostly hunt with my bolt guns and quickly realized that chassis systems and hunting don't mesh well. If your only shooting off a bench then go for it!

I almost bought one a while back… I liked it due to the AR type ergo… couple other options like the XLR were also on my radar.

I came across a good deal on an AICS 2.0 so I ended up going that route instead.

I have not seen one yet, but it looks similar to a xlr stock but with a Magpul PRS stock instead!

I used one for a custom build. I really liked it. Very good ergonomics for prone or bench shooting.
I would not use it for a "packing around" or hunting rifle.

          Here are some videos it:

I'm not a fan of any of the chassis systems with a tube that goes over the top of the barrel.
You end up having to run 1.5" high rings like an AR to get the scope to clear the hand guard tube.
That puts your cheek rest really high to then get a proper cheek weld behind the scope.
