    AR Mag Catch

Anybody know of a place to pick up a couple that ARENT 20-40 bucks each? Swapping to raddlocks but have to destroy mag catch on mp15 to get it out.

If you have a bullet button installed and it has blue locktight use a soldering iron to heat the screw and then unscrew it. I did this yesterday and it came off great.

I have heard S&W glues it in/perm loctites them in. Seen way too many posts of people breaking BB removal tools on the mp15 bullet buttons

        Rifle gear has in stock

Try using a hair dryer first for 3 minutes before removing, if not, Dremel is your friend.

          +1! It works.

Just don't try to unscrew all at once. Work the tool loosen/tighten loosen/tighten, each time trying to loosen and tighten a tiny bit further. It will crumble the loctite and let loose then you can unscrew fully.

Use enough heat, go easy as the tips on the tool are small!

I'm also trying to locate a place that will sell me a BB tool that doesn't look like it will break trying to take off the BB. Short of making one myself, I haven't found a reasonable priced one. Its cheaper and easier to drill the old one out and put in a new one than buying a BB tool that MIGHT work. :P
