    My featureless AR

So after installing my personal "stock lock" on a 6 position collapsable stock, putting on a Hammerhead grip by Exile Machine, and an agressive muzzle brake by YHM, I decided to just put on a thread protector instead of the muzzle brake. The "bamf" I was getting and inflicting on everyone at the range was unbearable.

If you can recommend another muzzle brake that directs the gas forward, I might change my mind.

This is a drunk post, btw.

I just ordered the DPMS muzzle brake for my featureless build. I read good things about it and hope it is effective. I figure it's pretty cheap to try.

BTW, how do you like the hammerhead?

Some brakes do a better job pushing gas vertically, but most are going to blow to the sides too. Wanting a brake that thrusts ported gases only forward is against what the job a brake is to do normally.

I've used the YHM brake in the past to loosen old fillings prior to going to the dentist. Save a bunch of money that way. YHM brake is cheap, dentist expensive.

BTW If you guys want a Hammerhead, better put in your order ASAP. We've shipped a metric boatload of them to New York State in the last few days and the demand seems to be increasing. Starting to see the bottom of the barrel and the next production run won't be ready until the end of the month.
