AR build in 300WSM, Tips, Insight & Advice

    Evening All,

Recently picked up a billet ar10 lower/upper and ready to try a different flavor. I have various bolt guns in 300wsm and ar's in various calibers but I'm trying to do some homework on what it takes to chamber this new build in the wsm. Has anyone done this before?

From what I gather there are a couple manufactures out there who chamber a 300SAUM, 300 Win Mag but no WSM because of case-head and feeding issues. I understand there's an outfit in Colorado who work with these things but are having major issues and having their extractors torn to **** after a few hundred rounds. Troubleshooting pressure, delay and extraction issues what else am I looking at if I go ahead with this build? I'm sure there's a whole heap of problems I'll encounter but any insight prior to me dumping $$$ into this build is much appreciated.

Lastly, has anyone come across any manufactures or retail outfits who sell BCGs, barrels/extentions, etc... for magnum rounds?

    Best,

Word on the street is to use a coiled gas tube, 458 socom buffer spring and and taper the inside of the ejection port... all I need AR parts...
