i might just call the Craigslist guy...

I will contact the guy selling the 223 ammo and tell him I'll sell him my surplus 223 at $300 per 100 rounds. He'll think, " heck no, too expensive". Then I'll have my friend call him and offer to buy his original 100 rounds at $500 PLUS as many more rounds as he can spare. I bet he'd call me back trying to buy all my ammo at $300.

That's funny. I found reloads in Grass Valley for .45/round.

        I'll do one better:

1000 rounds of high quality .223 (Bakersfield.) FROM CRAIGSLIST
Ammo is out of stock EVERYWHERE! I have some I will sell for 100 dollars a round. I heard from a friend that his cousin read on a blog the president signed an executive order stopping all production of all ammo, so this is the last of it. Will consider selling all of it at a discounted price of 75,000 dollars. Or trade for small house plus cash on your end.

I saw this posted in Craigslist and cried.

        EDIT: Here's the link - http://bakersfield.craigslist.org/spo/3557340234.html

It's not... You can set any price you want. Doesn't mean people will buy it.
