mini 14 on rain check,buy it?

I had been looking to get 5 ARs, one for each member of my family. Sadly i only had 4 before the craziness happened. Anyway im in big 5 a week or so ago and they have the mini 14 on sale but of cousre not in stock. Guy asks if i want a rain check. Sure why not right, like it will ever come in. They called today, its in.

So here is my question... buy it? Or hold out and wait for the insanity to die down?

I'd wait but I'm not a Mini-14/30 fan. I'd much rather have Saiga.

I have a good amount of AR's, and because of the non sense that was going on last year with the BB issue on AR's. I pulled the trigger and bought a Mini 14. Honestly, best purchase I've made in awhile.


I say buy it! Luckily I got my brand new Mini-14 for $630 out the door, I'm not sure how much they're going for now though haha.

I'd get it. If you decide you don't like it, sell it for $50 less than you paid for it. You aren't going to find anything semi-auto in .223 that you can pick up in 10 days for $799 right now. You'd be lucky to get something in 60 days.

I think you are right. The price with tax and dros is around $850. Still higher then i would like bet better then paying twice that for an ar these days.

I would get it man because you never know whats going to happen. If a ban on semi auto rifles goes through then you will be kicking yourself. BUY IT. ammo is scarce for that gun though so hopefully you have some stockpiled!

Bought mine (new Ranch) right after the election...about $775 OTD. Great gun, fun to shoot. Be aware that ammo and mags are very scarce. I'd say get it.
