If I want to buy one out of state, am I OK in purchasing it and having it shipped here, or would it be intercepted or something - resulting in me paying for something I never get?

          Any current information on this?

Has PTR gotten things straightened out with the roller wear, gap not shrinking and trunions?

18" barrel and wood stock preferred. Old School. Or a heavy barrel in plastic. God I miss the old B&B days in North Hollywood.

Hmm welded scope rail, and beavertail front end. Weight of the trigger on these, creep weight and trigger break weight?

Thanks to everyone for all the great input~! I would have replied to you all individually, but the response has been much greater than I expected! I have found a dealer willing and eager to sell and ship to me in CA, but they require that I send them a bullet button which they will install for $50. I can't find one? Called my PPT dealer, who specializes in AW & Class III, and they don't have any. Help! Anyone have one for sale, or have a suggestion as to where I might find one? Also, is it legal to have 20 round mags with a blocker (seen many stating that) as well as the 10 rounders? The old 20's with a blocker would seem to be a cheaper option.

                            Thanks~!
                            Stephanie~

After seeing the Raddlock post years ago, I went out to the garage and made one in about a half hour, so I could reassemble into compliancy. I made it out if a metal 1/2 electrical conuit bracket. The bracket screw hole and thickness are the perfect size to slip into the slot in the mag release. Shape to fit, and ta-da, mag can't be installed or removed without taking the TG pins out, which makes it nonfunctional. At least it worked in my SAR 8. I left it shiny so it stands out incase there is a question about mag removal, and I put a 5 round Cetme mag in. PAX

Picture of the metal 1/2 conduit, before, and after you modded it, and installed?

What would make a PTR 91 featureless? a HK 911 stock?, a thumb grip stock?

I have the GI model and the trigger was/is a pleasent surprise. Smooth take up with definite stop before a clean break. No creap or grittiness at all. I'd guess that it is around 4-5 pounds for the trigger. Maybe a bit more, but it's so smooth that I don't notice.
