Burned by Midway USA

I ordered three Maadi kits from Midway on Dec 21st. Today I got an email letting me know that they re-distributed my wealth to my fellow citizens. They trimmed my "ecessive order" to one,even though they continued taking orders till Jan 8th.

that sucks. i would almost tell them to cancel the third just out of spite. they refunded you for the other 2 right?

Telling you that they have them,but are going to give them to someone else who ordered behind you is bulls**t !!! I could have ordered other kits. The price is changing daily as we all know

I agree that they should have notified up front "1 per customer", However I am glad they are limiting, I'm tired of people sitting on the internet all day waiting for an in-demand item to pop up and purchasing a bunch to re-sell at a profit. **I am not saying you did this, just glad to see some sort of regulation**

Understandable to be frustrated by this, but it seems like they're trying to keep everyone somewhat happy rather than a few happy, and a lot pissed off because everything is sold out.

I got the same email from them today. I was annoyed but what can you do? Still, I feel it's wrong to do after the fact.

whats a bummer is that when I placed some ammo on backorder, it let me BO two packs because they were limiting it to two. Fine. Now I get a notice that they are dropping the limit to one and cancelling one of my backorders.

I suspect their fulfillment system is not exactly real time. They need to fix this. I otherwise like Midway, and I'm disappointed they would do this.

I got an email today saying my 2 stripped Daniel defense uppers will now be 1 per order. Oh well I hope I get one geez.

Wow... Just hearing that is enough to make me not want to order ANYTHING from them ever again, just like CTD with their super inflated mag prices

It's in the best interest of big retailers to limit the number of in-demand items they sell to each customer. More customers, more orders.

The number of people butthurt because they can't buy X number of parts kits or two dozen mags doesn't nearly outweigh the number of people looking to buy 1-2 of each, plus a few other items on a whim.

It's good business on their part not wealth redistribution...
