        I see a few people selling mags, one guy is selling pmags for $50, another selling some USGI mags for $22... maybe I should get some of those USGI mags.

          Wrong. You can legally buy 30 round mags in CA. The statute says it is illegal to import, manufacture, sell., etc. It is the SELLER who is breaking the law however.
