        RIP.

It is unfortunate he was not wearing a seatbelt. He may still be here today

RIP. I wonder if he swerved out of his lane to avoid a deer.

RIP John Noveske- he was good guy and will be missed by all. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting John back in 2003. I learned a tremendous amount from spending time around him. I'm a better person and better shooter because of him. Our heart goes out to the whole Noveske family and friends.

I am shocked and saddened to hear the horrible news. John was a class act! The first time I met John, was at the Oregon State NRA Highpower Regional in White City, Oregon, back in the 1990's. He was wearing a full Gilhuie Suit and shooting his M1-A. He turned a few heads to say the least! He was fairly new to competition, but as I recall, he shot well for his class. He was working for PAC-NOR Barrels in Brookings, Oregon at the time. He made his own M1-A barrel out of a PAC-NOR blank, and was on his way to learning to build the "BEST SERVICE RIFLES" ever built. I picked his brain for everything I could, and he built me one of his early prototype uppers, which allowed me to win First Place Master in The Creedmoor Cup Match at Camp Pendelton in 2005. (Thank you John!) From time to time I would drop in on him in Grants Pass after he started his shop in his Dad's garage, and I watched him grow. He was always proud to show me his new inventions and his ideas for meeting the needs of our servicemen and law enforcement, (his #1 goal.) He wanted to be there for them! I was so proud of him for a small town boy, achieving his dream! He has a lovely family, was a great guy, and has left a lot of sad friends in his passing.
He has left a legacy that few can match, and with the help of his family, his dedicated workforce and his loyal customers, I hope his legacy continues!
                          WE ARE DIMINISHED!
