Got there too around 9 and almost turned around but thought I'd hack it out. Parked across the street with no prob and for free. Took about 15min to get ticket and 2min to get in door( cut in line but shhh!!)straight to ammo line(another cut). Grabbed some 9 mm and .40sw ammo, sold some brass, then looked around a bit. Crazy crowded but not too bad if you're slim. Scored on some PMC 5.56 1000 rds for only $300. Was checking out what LAX Ammo was selling for $700 per 1000 rds and this guy walking around saw me and offered same case for $300.!! Superscore!!!! Grabbed that from him(don't know where he got it and why he sold so cheap but God Bless him) and got the hell out of Dodge.!! More people should give deals like that. I know I will if I decide to sell anything. Gotta return the flavor. All in all I saved a lot of time by cutting in line like a ninja assassin. And some money too. Good move on my part to hack it out. Don't bother going tomorrow cause there ain't nothing left. Maybe!!

Just heard on ABC-7 news that it was so crowded the Fire Marshall closed the doors until some folks left. The video looked very crowded. I have not been to a show for years. Maybe if they could bring it back to the LA County Fairplex in Pomona.......nawww, ain't gonna happen.

Awww don't be jealous. I was classy about it. Nobody even noticed or they probably would've tarred and feathered me. All is fair in love and war and today was a war for guns and ammo deals.

My exp at todays show:
I got in the show about 1030am. The .223 was out immediately and the people I did see with it were trucking it out on dollys by the cases. The LAX ammo line was ridiculous and not worth it IMO. I got all my ammo at the ammo booth(Miwall Corp) by the A entrance. I got 9mm 125gr 500rd reloads for $99 ($ .20 rd) and .22 CCI Blazer 40gr 5250rds for $240 ($ .04 rd)
Magpul 30rd mags were $60 and I bought a metal (.223) 20rd for $20 I think. No one had LPK's where I looked and I got in the door at 10:30. It was busy but not as crazy as I thought it would be. People were spending a lot of money on ammo. The guy next to me spent over $3000 on ammo. People were walking out with cases of it.
We parked behind the double tree hotel to save money and the walk was very close. A lot of news channels there and the line to get in was wrapped around the building to get in.

IMO the show in OC at the end of the month will be much worse because DiFi is rolling out her plan on AW ban and high capacity mags on Jan 22 (I think) which will raise the panic level even more. That is why I dealt with the masses and bought ammo today and a few more high cap mags.

Instead I went traget shooting with my buds, I had a great day in the forest.

i got their about 1 pm. bought a ticket and walked right in. this is the first time ammo was not on my list. in normal times i would have bought more but i have a lot and i figured the line was not worth it. i went their for a front sight [extra] and sling for my new to me M1A. i also found a muzzle bracket to attach a rail by pod to my 59/66A1 SKS. i walked everything 1 time and went home.
