I went to Wal-Mart to pick up a car battery terminal plug cleaner and I was like, eh what could it hurt and went to check out the ammo cabinet.

What I found was 17 boxes of Tula 7.62x39 for $4.99. And yes, I bought it all.

i frequently go there and buy out there 7.62x39. The super walmart nearby carries it, but the regular size walmarts ive been to only have the winchester(brass) box.

What I found funny was the guy infront of me bought 5-6 boxes of Tula 9mm but after he saw me took all the 7.62x39, he went back to the counter and bought the rest of the 9mm (about 15ish boxes left).

Did I caused him to "panic" buy? I hope not.

The Walmart in San Marcos had a bunch 2 days ago. I don't have a 7.62, so I didn't buy any, but was surprised to see it in stock, but no 9mm.

For anyone in the Sacramento Area; Sportsmans Warehouse in Roseville has Tula in 762X39 for about $6/box and 762X54r for $12/box (This was two days ago hope its not all gone by now)

There should be a sticky thread on good ammo deals. Maybe even several, divided up by regions or something.
Discount Gun Mart in San Diego had 5.45 2 days ago for 8.99 a box. I bought about half of what was on the shelf. The place I normally go charges 13.99 for the same exact ammo, wish I had checked discount a long time ago.
