    somethings fishy....

Ok, so i understand the panic buy on lowers(only part need be registered), complete lowers, complete uppers, complete rifles...all the "complete parts....but what i dont get is all the little single items that are completely up and gone, "out of stock"...ie. bcg's, barrels, even most tactical rails...is this not strange to anyone else? I am really new to "building/assembling" black rifles, but still....makes ya wonder whos hoarding a garage full of boxes full of misc parts n pieces...lol

You're better of with a $400 .308 unless you plan on taking out taliban from 2000 yards away haha

Waste not, want not, I guess. When we're talking about panic-buying, the people in it are figuring that the sky is literally falling, so yes; grab anything gun related before it's TOO LATE!!!!

I don't always save the world, but when I do, it's in 24 hours or less...

Well if you really enjoy shooting your AR-15, you will find out that it is a high maintenance piece, parts gets worn out, breaks. And just by merely cleaning your AR, you sometimes lost or misplaced parts. You always got to make sure that you got spare parts available.

AR's are easy to build. If someone can't find one built they will just build their own. I couldn't find a complete upper so I settled on buying parts. I'm not panic buying, I've had a lower for years but wanted to build it up as a Christmas present to myself. I should have known better than to build on an election year

            If you're incompetent.

OP, what good are lowers if you can't build them?

BCGs have been nearly impossible to find before this all started. Hell most parts like barrels and complete uppers from top teir manufactures have been hard to find. Given the current panic now there impossible to find. Were slowly gonna start to see parts come back in stock.

Can't tell you how glad I am to have stayed out of this. I don't care if I didn't make a profit but I wasn't suckered into buying anything inflated either. Glad I was prepared.

No proposed gun law, by anyone, will make stripped lowers illegal. Period. Only if the bullet button ban passes would there be any significant change for us in California. What you're seeing now on the market is irrational Mayan Apocalypse panic. Wait until next summer and you'll see the market flooded with $89 lowers and no buyers because they've emptied their bank accounts on stockpiles of $300 lowers. Uppers will be a different story. Say goodbye to that oh-so-useful bayonet lug and flash hider. If you can live without those, you probably have no reason to worry.

^^ this...i completely agree...I just sold my piston rifle today for basically what i paid for it + 2 RRA lowers...mainly because i needed the cash more than anything, but now ill have 2 lowers to build off of. With the frenzy on ammo more than anything, it'll make it easier to wait it out and get the parts when the pricing comes back down...
