As long as you have your name on a lower, you will be fine. I feel you on paying off the credit cards, it's a smart thing to do. I scored an HK mr762 right before the madness and i'm lucky to have my dream gun, but 4k in debt is a pain in the *****. Wish you the best of luck finding an upper, if I had any left I would offer you one at normal price. Check the marketplace, you may find an honest person in there that will part ways with one at normal value.

Check the marketplace here, there are a lot of stand up guys that are selling at real prices but you gotta be quick, they don't last long. The guys that are really "high" don't seem to be selling theirs.

The panic will die down and things will slowly start to trickle back into stock. Unfortunately a lot of the prices will never return to "normal" though. A lot like how gas skyrockets $0.80 and then drops down 0.25 and people feel all relieved that it's going down.. even when its still up. Ammo gets hit the hardest, but parts take a long time to get back in stock and regulated.

I dont know... You can always pay off debt, you may never be able to own an AR-15 soon.

              You are so screwed....

I do not currently own any guns...but if I did it would be a shotgun.

              For self preservation of course...

Thats how my brain is tricking me into spending money. I have the lower on order. I guess thats a pretty good start.

                  What are 80% lowers??

                    panic

I remember the last time the had a ban on ar stuff and mags, people had bought up everything, and then stopped buying for crazy prices. WELL the last day or so before the ban went into effect was a great time to buy cause after that, all the hoarded guns were worthless unless you sold out of state somehow, but the couldnt get their money back, because other states had no ban,
Got an ar-10 for 500.00 at 6:00 the last night. Stay calm especially if you have a lower, uppers will always be able to be built.Unless were under martial law, Ammo might get more expensive .
Stuff like 800 for a stripped lower is just nuts. IMO
I ve been wanting a Stag lefty upper and was shocked they were out most everywhere.Took a couple hours but found the one I wanted for under 600.00 shipped in 48 hrs. Good luck!!!!

Well said. I think you'll be able to get one once the frenzy is over and for a fair price. Plus you'll actually be able to afford it...You did the right thing. Things will return to normal after a while...just my opinion.
