Rguns Nicole boron BCGs on Ebay with a buy it now of $330! What's the normal price of these? Is it worth it in the present atmosphere?

      rrengineer,

I have a newly bought nickle boron BCG that appears to be from Rguns.....I paid about $220 with free shipping. If you search around it shouldn't over $250 or something like that. For $330 that's steep. Wether they're considered to be worth it remains to be seen when I get a chance to shoot mine.

Yeah, that's way too much! Honestly if you can't find one for a reasonable price just wait it out....

Did any of you try checking the Rguns web site? They're still listed as being in stock and they're maintaining their pre-panic prices.

The problem is that they won't answer phone calls or emails and they're charging $100 for cancelled orders, so you can't find out until items are in stock until after you place an order...and then you might end up having to wait several months for the order to fill or lose $100.

RGuns is the worst experience I have ever had. There BCG work, but don't live up to the luster/lube quality Ni Boron BCG should have.

              I wouldn't pay 120 for a rguns bcg.

I wouldn't run that in my rifle for free!

If you're going to pay that, bite the bullet and get a BCM for $400

There was a thread recently where a fellow Calgunner had his Rguns NiB BCG start chipping and flaking. I think he said he paid $150 for it (pre panic price). So I would pass, but it's your money.

For what its worth, i have a standard parked rguns bcg in my new setup, and initial quality seems good. Only about 200 rnds through it so far, but it ran 100%.

I would test more, but im saving ammo.

I would pass on the NiB R-Guns BCG, their quality is questionable at best. Google it and you see lots of negative feedback from people who got burned with their R-Guns NiB BCG. One of the main problems was the extractor spring was too weak and had to be replaced just to be able to use it. Another is their NiB process isn't done very well because there are issues with flaking and staining and several seem to be out of spec to function properly.

I thought the R in RGUNS was for RUNAWAY!!!!

Just call around to local gun shops. I was able to call 3 different places last week and they had BCGs in stock. Daniel Defense $199 @ Bullseye, Bushmaster $179 @ Cal-Arms, and Anderson Man $169 Ammo Bros Ontario. Not sure if they are still in stock but give them a call.

I used to live in Illinois and went to the Rguns shop a few times. Even bought an AR there. Terrible customer service in person. I also had the stainless lowers they put out, got it from AIM. Been through 3 hammers because the spring that holds the pin in falls out. So an Rgun product would not top my list.
