    Model 1 sales

    Does anyone here have experience with this company. I know a couple people who have ordered their complete kits and have had no problems. I placed an order with them for a compete kit on 12/21 and waited a few days for my payment to post. After a couple days of nothing, I re-read their info regarding orders and saw that they don't charge anything until order is ready to ship (that's fine). I called their customer service # multiple times and it went to some voicemail system, finally after numerous attempts was able to talk to a lady there who was able to reassure me about my order and that lead times were 6 months. I tell my wife about the lead time and says to call back and change my CC info to another card. Been 3 days and get get anyone on the phone to make change. Anyone experience any of these issues?

    Ordered a few times, great each time.

    You ordered just a couple days before the biggest holiday of the year, and its only a couple days after that holiday...give them some slack because of the holiday. I am sure they will address your order ASAP.

      That's good to hear, thank you. I've been telling myself it was due to the holiday but other people I talk to get me all worried about it. The only thing I would like to have is live customer service. That could be that way due to the holidays as well. Thanks again for the answer and I feel 100X better. Happy new year!!!

        You gave them TWO credit cards?! Be prepared to have your identity stolen. Do a search.

          No, ordered with my check card which has been great in past fraud cases and wanted to switch to a full credit card for the payment protection. Just haven't been able to make the switch yet.

            They have had some issues. Notably with identity theft in their online system. And their customer service tends to get overwhelmed rather quickly. Your best bet is to try calling them earlier in the mornings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. You will eventually get through. They are somewhat slow to deliver, as they usually keep their system up and running, no matter what their backlog is. In 2008, they were running 6-8 months behind. I am sure it will be just as bad this time through.

            As for their guns, I know some people have had some complaints. They are one of the bargain brands, so don't expect it to be a LaRue or anything. On the other hand, I have two of their uppers, and both have given me several years of service with no problems. They are basic, no-frills guns, and while I wouldn't go play in one of the sandboxes with them, I have no problem using them for HD, plinking and hunting.
