    ca transfer

    ok so i posted this in handguns but need more info

    ok so my mother that is passing away in ohio has many firearms that are not ca compliant. i am going to be the legal owner per will. so how do can bring them home legally. no fully auto but non ca safety or gun ban compliant.

    problem is the is ww2 weapons. that have been handed down. Thomson stick clip, and a bar. plus a mg42 these are big no no in ca.

    rent a storage unit outside of CA..lol ..better yet, ship em to my pops in Alaska...he'll hang onto them for ya..

        Poor idea. 3 noted are machine guns - that would 4-8 years in jail EACH.

        And hasn't addressed the Federal transfer requirements of NFA weapons - if they're even registered with the Feds at all. Lots of WWII 'bringbacks' are not.

          The value of those guns and the amount of time in jail you could get for screwing up means stop asking strangers and get a qualified firearms lawyer in CA.
