    Assault Weapons on BLM land.

At first I thought you couldn't bring Cali Reg'd AW's onto BLM land. But since the BLM is a Federal agency and the Federal AW ban has expired it is ok to bring/ use AW on BLM controlled land. Ooorah!

The feds could choose to do so, but they don't and they allow all normal state law to apply.
The above does not constitute legal advice. I am not your lawyer.

"Persons have the permission of the Bureau of Land Management to possess and use firearms, including lawfully registered assault weapons, on BLM-administered public lands, except when prohibited by other applicable laws and regulations."

The "...except when prohibited by other applicable laws and regulations."
part deals with (as explained to me by BLM folks in Sac) no target shooting or no hunting areas of BLM land.

My suggestion would be to print and carry the page from the BLM website because some DFG wardens might be unclear on this part of the laws.

kinda how i would think it works. and it does make sense to work it that way.

and i do wear my tin hat when outside, as the roof of the house has steel plates and a heat shield.
