HK SL7

Does anyone have experience with one of these? I'm in a "what to buy next" mode and have always liked these. I know magazines are expensive as heck and hard to find as are HK scope mounts.

Does the gun function reliably and is reasonably accurate? Finicky about ammo or not? I don't reload for semi autos in 308, so whether it chews up brass isn't important.

I see many aftermarket scope mounts for the SL7, are any worthwhile?

I've got a line on one for about $1,200.00 - reasonable price?

A friend of mine had one of these. They are excellent rifles, very accurate and very reliable. Think of it as what the love child of a G3 and a G43 would have looked like. I'd grab it in a heartbeat.
