I am thinking about purchasing SEI Muzzle Breaks for my M1A's. What do you guys think, can I do it myself with the correct castle nut pliers?

piece o' cake.
hard part might be loosening the old one.
DON'T get the cheap castle nut pliers as they bend too easily. get the good ones from Brownells.
the splines align the front sight. you may want to peen them for a nice, tight, drive fit.
there is a stepped-down diameter at the end of the barrel that slips into the MB. you have to give the MB a good smack to seat it sometimes.
if you don't have castle nut pliers, you can carefully use a brass drift instead..
