How different is that from an AR18?

This is the rifle that Mack Gwinn designed and that Bushmaster takes it name from. Think of a cross between an AR-15, AR-18, and AK, designed to be produced using maximum number of stampings. I saw several back when I was in college and first getting into EBRs, and they had a rep for poor reliability and quality control at the time. It's an interesting, perhaps even excellent, design, but poorly executed.

Like all early Bushamster offerings it was crude and home made looking, nice conversation piece.

I'd rather have an M17S. Those are nifty, and the CA Ban missed them. With a solar tactical-style grip, they would be legal here, assuming you get the 20" version. I had been watching them on GunBroker, but since the fit hit the shan, I see no point in buying anything until the scare is over.

I stand by my statement not sure why some oddball looking welded PoS is amusing you just because bushmaster makes it doesn't make it a bushmaster.

Certainly not a rifle you'd want in California. Two big problems, one it has Bushmaster roll mark, and two it also has the words "assault rifle" on the receiver.

              Unless you spell it Assult!

Bushmaster is a company, not a model of rifle. Are you under the false impression that AR15 and Bushmaster are synonyms?
