There are many systems that are lighter, stronger and better priced. If you like the looks of the SIR, you could also look at the VLTOR. just my .02

Before you go out and buy an ARMS rail system, try looking at some from LaRue or Daniel Defense. My 2 cents.

try airsoft stuff...everyone scoffs at them but they are strong and they work

Sure, other rails might be cheaper and better than the ARMS SIR system, but looks gotta count for something.
