You can saw off the grip of the CETME, saw off the bottom metal cap on the grip, and weld the cap back on so you don't cut yourself. You'll end up with a 1/2" stub (or slightly less) under the trigger guard- not enough to grip, but the re-weld is essential, as the cut metal is VERY sharp.

As of now, no one makes a MMG for a CETME, though a CETME/G3 MMG would work on both guns. You could make a wood 2-pc MMG which would bolt over the metal PG frame too, btu no one's done it yet.
