    bullet button help

Hi, I have a Del-ton sport AR, and was wondering if I sold my gun to my Brother in Texas- If it was possible to switch the factory installed bullet button to a regular mag-release? I know it would be legal to do in TX, just if it is possible to swap out the parts, as the current bullet button may be 'perminatley ' locked in?
    -thanks

Yup, perfectly fine to do.If it is a standard screw in BB it will come right off and be a direct swap for the traditional AR mag release. If it feels tight, the manufacturer might have used some Locktite, a little heat applied to the BB from something like a hair dryer or heat gun will help loosen the bond.
