Nice shooting range in SoCal (Vista, CA)

This is a nice range.... http://www.ncsapala.com/ (I think it would be even nicer if they put up 1 man-sized, or IPSC/IDPA-sized, target @ each distance, then we can practice using mil-dots)

You can always set that pic as your wallpaper, then you can aim at your monitor and *dry* fire....

(Disclaimer: be sure your gun is unloaded, I think no responsibility for smoked monitors....)

Have to be a club member. They seem to have some event going on almost every weekend so recreational shooting is only open on mondays and now they've opened up 1st and 4th fridays. Anyone here who've been to the Escondido Fish and Game(?) shooting range? How is it? That's club membeship, too, IIRC but I think you could go as a guest.

Too bad I never have mondays off.

I do get fridays though... 1st and 4th are good? I didn't see that.

                Very nice range though.

That looks like a awesome range!

Do those targets automatcally reset themselves? Or is lots of walking/driving involved?

Member price is not bad. To bad is not close to me. I'd be there all the time.

Hmm,51 miles from my front door.It looks like you must be a member and also pay an additional $15. to recreational shoot.I may send an email to confirm.
On the bright side, the website says no add'l fee is required for NRA,SASS,USPSA,etc. sanctioned match participation if you are a member of that organization.AND they have a USPSA 3 gun match THIS weekend!
Anybody else wanna go? Looks like $25.match fee for non members of Linea De Fuego....Did I miss anything?

Yes, LdF have an USPSA/IPSC pistol & 3-gun match this weekend. It is a lot of fun, I shoot with them a lot.
                            BTW, 1st timer FREE :-)
                            Visit http://lineadefuego.org/ for more info.
(For the pistol match, at a minimum, you would need a holster, 250-300 rounds of ammo; I'd recommend about 5 10-rnd magazines, but a minimum of 2 or 3 can work, for the first timer)

The Tactical Rifle Match is happening on the rifle range at the same time.
