Black Friday Purchase Arrives - Daniel Defense DDM4V3

This is my very first AR. I actually don't remember the last time I shot a gun. I know it was just a few handguns at a shoot range in LA probably 4 years ago.

Originally, I had purchased a Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport. This is my first AR as I've said. After doing research on the forum, watching youtube videos, etc. No one has said anything bad about the S&W except no forward assist and no dust cover. I really wanted the Daniel Defense though, but felt since it's my first AR, $1500 was a lot to spend.

Yes I could mod the S&W and put a quad rail, etc, and it would be cheaper, but I felt I'd like a gun that was just done from the factory that I don't have to mess with...so I ended up getting the Daniel Defense M4V3 instead.

It seems as though there are not many people with Daniel Defense guns (probably because they're newer than some of the other manufactures?). Anyhow, I hope to go shooting with it this weekend and I'll have to figure out which optic I want to get for it.

    Just a few pics...
Comes with a nice case...one less thing for me to buy

I have a Viking Tactics Wide Upgraded Sling to hook up, and also a MAGPUL BAD Lever.

Post up pics of your Daniel Defense...would love to see more of them

That is NICE. I already have what I need but all of you 'DD posters might make me get one of these, also. I hope you get to shoot it soon!

That's exactly why I went with the DDM4v3 myself. My first AR as well.

Very nice for your first AR. I would still like to add a Daniel Defense rifle to my small collection. One of these days maybe.
