    Sanity check.

Question/sanity check here. Friend has the following out of state:

    RRA LAR-15 Entry.

Former Marine who now works on Camp Pendleton. He left the rifle at home (AZ) and wants to bring it back. Checked the flow chart and I am going to tell him to put a 10 round mag and Bullet Button like device in it to keep it legal. Any issues that you can think of to keep him legal? I also mentioned that the hi cap mag issue to him. Thanks.

I think you've got it covered...but check the flowchart

Laws against murder and attempted murder should have been the only gun control laws ever needed in America...

Yeah the LAR-15 Entry is not named specifically, so with 10 rounders and a BB, he is G2G. Just make sure he check with CO if he lives on base. I dunno about marines, but during my time in the CG we had to have personal weapons cleared before we brought them to gov. supplied housing.

If I'm not mistaken the LAR-15 was one of the OG off-list lowers to come into the state through 3rd parties.

I know you can bring them on base, you just have 72hrs or something like that to register them once they arrive on base. Also make sure that they have the BB installed prior to doing the registration.
