You left Calguns? Except when you are broke and need to sell guns for money, then Calguns is OK right?

Sounds like you really stand by your convictions, except when it comes to money.

If derision and arrogance are all you have to offer, there's no need here for you to come back.

Does that UMP folding stock meet length requirements? Don't want some to but one and get into trouble for it.

He doesn't mention the G&G but there is some info here:

Although im still confused by this sentence.

The PDW style side folders AND the B&T style side folders are 100% ILLEGAL. When folded, the overall legal length (folded) barely made 25 inches. I personally wanted to buy the B&T stock for the rifle. It was quite upsetting when it was .5 inches short
It's .5 short therefore illegal and 100% legal at the same time?

                Enlighten me SS.

It's too short for California. The with it on the overall folded length is less than 26", which is illegal in CA.

All of those parts will fit the GSG. However, only the collapsers are legal in Cali. Any folder is illegal unless you place a larger can on the rifle. The lowers will fit but require modification. AVOID G&G AT ALL COSTS!!! Their dimensions are different and will not work on the rifle. I'll have to shoot AEX an e-mail about this!

Nice setup on the GSG-5. Your posts on the stock lengths has been very helpful. I still have yet to reconfigure my GSG-5 as I have other guns I need to doll up first.

Normally I'm VERY anti-Airsoft parts on real guns but with the GSG-5 (and .22LR's in general), I really don't think it's a big deal. It's not like you'd ever go to combat with a .22LR so "real world durability" isn't an issue. Installing a real HK MP5 collapsible stock on a GSG-5 seems almost ridiculous to me. Bottom line is that a .22LR rifle isn't too demanding on parts and like Snake pointed out, the factory GSG-5 stock is the suck and a CA stock really is an upgrade.

Funny how some people who actually run around with a gun and train on the weekends are labeled as little kids. When you play airsoft you learn valuable lessons on human behavior under fire and how not to get shot. Obviously not the be all end all to tactical training, but better than staring at your gun(belly button, etc.) and dreaming of teotwawki. I carried a m16a2 for uncle sam as well, and let me tell you, running around with a rifle and shooting at humans is not a natural behavior. Running around with a simulated firearm, in combat with humans, gee must be a horrible training tool, huh?

Wanna get confident in your skillz? (the z is there to piss off crotchety people)
                              Shoot regular rifle matches
Shoot Ipsc or equivalent pistol and three gun matches
                              Play Airsoft with experienced adults.
Go to Gunsite or an equalent high end firearms course. (I suggest USMC Security Forces Training Battalion it's free, sort of) Clearing the house when the wife is gone doesn't count...

Want to hate on the new generation of shooters? The ones who have good gear and will actually train. Cool. Just don't get in a fight with us. We aren't all 14, non military, d-bags, who can't build an AR from a box of parts.
Let's be friends so we can co-operate when the bad guys come, undead or not.
