    magpul help

Hi, I am looking into buying a magpul moe hand-guard :http://store.magpul.com/product/MAG440/184

and magpul mbus flip up front sight, :http://store.magpul.com/product/MAG247/44

    1) will this hand-guard fit onto a del-ton sport ar15 ... I am new to the ar15 world and am not sure how to check compatibility.
    2) If i buy rails for the magpul hand-guard, can I put the rails on top of the hand-guard in order to mount the flip up sight... It is not clear on the mapul website.
    Thank-you!

Yes, it should fit. It is a carbine length hand guard, same size as on the DT Sport.

No, you can't put a rail on the top. From the Magpul website: slots at the two, six, and ten o'clock positions allow the attachment of optional Picatinny rail sections. Doesn't your Sport have a fixed front sight? If so, you don't need the flip up front sight.

No on the sights. Your rifle came with a front sight post for your gas block? If it did just use that. if you want the mbus front sight your gonna have to put a freefloat handguard on.

The moe hand guard will fit fine. The delton sport already has a A2 front sight so you don't need a flip up sight. You are going to need a rear sight though

Didn't realize they made one without the front sight. It looks like need a rail system if you want a front sight, or just go with a red dot scope.
