I have a Del-Ton DT Sport and it functions flawlessly. I have never had a FTF or FTE problem. It is more accurate than I am - using Federal 55 gr 5.56 I can hit the center ring at 50 and 100 yards, and the bullseye if I really concentrate (if only all of my shots were that good). You won't be disappointed in your purchase.

The people that bash Del-Ton are just mad they spent more and got the same quality rifle. If I'm wrong, I would like someone to prove to me they use bottom rung parts. I'm sure there have been times they have sourced some not so great stuff but I doubt it. The only people I've ever seen bash Del-Ton are those without any first hand experience. I have built two and have friends that have used Del-Ton. They are good to go. To be honest the BCG may not be the best but if you order one, omit the BCG and get one from BCM. I have higher end AR builds and to be honest, you cannot tell the difference.

No problems with my 20" build. I've put 2k rounds and no issues what so ever. No FTE, no FTF, nothing. Runs like a champ. Is it possible that they are "moving on up" in terms of quality?

I just bought the $435 del-ton mid-length carbine 16" rifle kit from midway mainly for the upper as I already built my lower...ordered a set of Matech mil-spec BUIS for breaking it in and can't wait for it to arrive so I can go play.

I guess that gives me an excuse to buy another stripped lower and still keep my eyes out for a good deal on a complete 20" upper like I originally wanted...
