Left side bullet button

Does anyone make a left side bullet button or a true mirror image lower that has the fenced mag release on the left side?

I have no experience with these, but am highly intrigued by the Thordsen UBML kit here

In the vendor section he has some lowers for sale with the UBML already installed, or at least he did at one point, might be worth checking if you're interested.

You'll also see some manufacturers like LWRC advertise ambi lowers, which is really just a regular lower with one of the above pre-installed.

I THINK you have to drill into your lower to install the Thordsen device, so consider that also; I know some folks wouldn't want to do that...

Rock River is supposed to be coming out with a true mirror image left handed AR.Saw it advertised,pretty sure it was in Guns&Ammo.

Yes!! There is a left side magazine lock in existence!! Our UBML is rapidly gaining popularity. Check it out http://www.ubbt.net/ubmr.html

We have certified installers all over the state, or you can buy our self install and armorers kits and do it yourself. If you're in the Bay Area, you can even bring it or ship it to our shop to be installed by me personally!!

We're sold out of the Surplus Ammo lowers and have more on order. Still impatiently waiting for our Andersons to come in.

Yes. We're about to launch our LEFF (Law Enforcement, Featreless, Free state) version of the UBML.

Im hoping to see something like the UBML for a SCAR. The SCAR already has a ambidextrous mag release stock, but thanks to Cali law I of course have to have a lock on it. Riflegear put the one I have on already, I think made by radlock, but would love to see the actual release side on the left, as the UBML is just pure awesomeness for my ar-15 with UBBT installed on the rangerplates for my mags. Its as close as you can get to a standard reload speed without a magazine lock imo. So +1 for the UBML and UBBT on your mags.

Which SCAR do you have? I was just looking at a SCAR 16 and it looks like a UBML can adapt to it. Take some good close up pics of the left side of your baby and email it to me.

Its the 17S (308 version). Here is a pic of one online. I can take more pics if you need. The bigger problem I would think now however is that the lower receiver is plastic, not metal. Thus the bolts for the UBML may not work well as it is currently configured. I would agree otherwise however that everything else would be compatible.
