Is that a "faux suppressor" up front? If not, what is it? If that's a barrel, it's a biggun'! It is interesting, anyway. Hogue stock? I'm looking to "do" my Mini similar to yours. Oh, and does that rail get hot at all?

EDIT: I didn't initially see the specs you posted below the pic. I'm guessing it's the barrel stabilizer system I'm seeing up front. I'm not familiar with that one.

EDIT (Again!): I think I remember seeing that Accuracy Systems deal sometime in the past. Isn't that the company that you send your Mini to, and they work it over? New barrel, gas block, etc. etc.?

That's a good question. I just added the Fastfire II, I had an EoTech on it for a short time before that. Haven't shot it since. I will say it shoots way, WAY better than I do. Just as accurate as my other semi auto centerfire rifles. If I hit the circle at 100 yards I am happy......

Awesome indeed! I haven't seen one configured like yours before with the harmonic barrel stabilizer package. Did it come in black or did you have t painted?

I just picked up mine Saturday from jail, I agree it was a long 10 day wait...



Question for all you mini 14 owners. I have been researching these since picking one up and I plan to make a few modifications to it.

One thing I was unaware of is barrel flex on these rifles until tonight after doing some research. Is the flex really that bad on the barrels of these rifles and do the mods such as accustrut and accuracy systems stabalizer really make that much of a difference.

I had my mini 580 series for about 6 months now. I added houge stock, strikefire red dot and mo rod barrel stabilizer. As far as the barrel stabilizer, its more for looks than helping in accuracy. 580 series and above already have the improved barrels. I should've spent the money on a better optics.
