    Ar-15 trigger help

I went to the range about a week ago to test out my new ak. My wife fired about 80 rounds through my ar that day. She started complaining about a hard trigger that she couldn't pull. I loaded it, And shot it. No problem. But now I got curious and dry fired it again. It is easy to pull. But it is a lot harder than before. I don't see a problem? Any suggestions? If something is broke, I wouldn't be surprised. It is a $600 beater build with literally 5,000+ rounds through it. It has been slammed, thrown, buried in dirt, And probably only cleaned 3 times tops! And it has never had ANY problems as far as jams or breaks. So if she is broken I feel like I finally achieved something!!! I know it sounds crazy. But after people talking mess about cheaper ar's I wanted to see what mine was capable of. It proved enough for me to take it over anything. Any suggestions?

Have you taken it apart to look for something that's...broken?

      Maybe if you clean it..?
If I ever refer to BCM as BMC, its a slip as I often think of BMC when I'm thinking BCM lol. BMC, as in Bicycle Manufacturing Company.

I took it apart. And cleaned it, Lubed it etc. Same problem. I do not see anything wrong or broken with it. If I don't figure it out, I will take it to a gunsmith. Probably about time to replace some things anyways.

Well, if your trigger is noticeably harder to pull than before, then there is something going on in your lower fcg. Dirty, broken spring, broken hammer or trigger pin?
Good luck, hope you figure it out.
