    MSAR STG-556???

Is this rifle CA legal? I found one that is used and comes with a 10rd mag.

I love the Bull Pup, Semi-Auto Rifle design and I'm really interested in finding one that is CA legal. Everything talks about the AUG, or MSAR STG-E4.

    Thanks everyone!

Yes - I love mine. They already have a very elegant BB for it that doesn't disrupt the look and feel of the rifle. Mine doesn't like steel case ammo however (expands in the chamber and the extractor tends to rip off the case rim). Other than that, great rifle.

Mine eats the polymer coated Wolf with no problems. The way it handles is awesome. It is accurate too, but the factory trigger pull us a little stiff. This helps a lot: http://www.kmaerospace.com/MSAR.html

If you're buying from out of state, make sure it's either the 20" barreled version, or you can source a proper barrel extension and have the barrel shipped separately from the rest of the gun. The 16" and 18.5" barrel versions are shorter than the 30" OAL law in California allows for.

Fun gun to shoot after I replaced the trigger on my rifle, I went with the Rat Worx trigger pack.

                Or just keep it disassembled.
